SDV Sector is a news site covering the software-defined vehicle sector worldwide: the platforms, architectures, updates, diagnostics, security and regulations that are turning vehicles into software products.

We publish daily, Monday to Friday, with global coverage across the USA, China, Europe and Japan/Korea. Every story links its primary source and carries a one-line "Why it matters". Our Sunday newsletter, The SDV Sector Brief, rounds up the week.

Ownership and publisher

SDV Sector is published by Diadrom Systems AB, a Swedish vehicle-software company within the publicly listed Diadrom Holding group. Responsible publisher under Swedish media law (ansvarig utgivare): Viktor Eliasson.

SDV Sector operates as a stand-alone publication. Because our publisher is itself active in the vehicle-software sector, our editorial policy commits us to a strict neutrality rule: companies with commercial or ownership relationships to our publisher — including Diadrom itself — are covered under exactly the same news criteria as every other company, and articles that mention our publisher or its group companies carry a disclosure note.
