Keboda won zonal controller work and put 100 million euros into its European plants

Keboda disclosed zonal control unit design wins at two Chinese electric-vehicle makers and domain controllers built across several chip platforms, and separately approved 100 million euros of capital for its German and Czech subsidiaries.

Keboda Technology reported new zonal controller design wins at two leading Chinese new-energy vehicle makers in interim results disclosed on August 28, covering body control, comfort management and rear-end control. The company said it had developed central computing platform and driving domain controller products across multiple chip platforms, among them Qualcomm, Horizon Robotics, Xinxin Hangtu and Shenji, spanning flagship, high and mid tiers, and was jointly developing a next-generation driving solution with a global carmaker it did not name.

Keboda said design wins booked in the half carried expected full-lifecycle sales above 10 billion yuan. It also reported electronic-fuse wins at one North American and one European global manufacturer, and a headlamp-controller win at a European luxury brand.

In a separate board announcement the same day, Keboda approved 50 million euros of new capital for KEBODA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, taking its registered capital to 101.275 million euros, and a further 50 million euros into KEBODA Czech Republic s.r.o., booked to capital reserve without changing registered capital. Each sum was given as about 388.36 million yuan at the end-June rate. The company said the outbound capital filing had not yet been completed. No shareholder vote was required.

Keboda said its Czech plant had passed Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes audits and mass-production certification within a year of its acquisition, with several awarded domain-controller projects in accelerated validation. Revenue for the half fell 5.61% to 3.081 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders fell 27.86% to 309.2 million yuan.
