XPeng launched the L03 simultaneously in China and Munich, built around VLA 2.0, its vision-language-action foundation model for assisted driving, and the new XOS 6 cockpit software.
Every L03 trim ships with XPeng’s in-house Turing AI chip, TechNode reported, with the Max version at 750 TOPS of compute and the Ultra SE at 1,500 TOPS. XOS 6 is XPeng’s first cockpit release with native Google Maps integration, a feature aimed squarely at overseas buyers.
The company said the model will reach 65 countries and regions. The global rollout of its NGP navigation-assisted driving begins in 2027, according to TechNode.
The launch pattern is the story: rather than adapting a China-market car for export after the fact, XPeng shipped the same software stack — driving model, cockpit and silicon — into Europe on day one, betting that its software cadence can compete on the home turf of the incumbents it undercuts.
