Cerence signs a multi-brand Stellantis cockpit award as connected services grow

Cerence reported revenue of $69.6 million for the third quarter of its 2026 fiscal year, up from $62.2 million a year earlier, in results filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 6.

The company said revenue from connected services grew more than 20 percent year over year. Chief executive Brian Krzanich said Cerence had “signed an important multi-brand Cerence xUI award with Stellantis, secured the first customer for our Mobile Work Agent, and saw 20% year-over-year growth in Connected Services revenue.” The release gave no value, brands or timing for the Stellantis award, and Cerence issued no separate announcement of it.

Reported gross margin was 76.0 percent. Net income was $1.5 million, against a loss of $2.7 million a year earlier, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached $13.5 million from $9.0 million. Operating cash flow was $20.0 million.

Cerence also said its board had authorized the repurchase of up to $30 million of its shares over twelve months, which the company described as the first buyback program in its history.

For the fourth quarter the company guided to revenue of $61 million to $65 million, and said it expected to sign no fixed license revenue contracts during the period. Full-year guidance was $310 million to $314 million.
