Joyson booked 44.9 billion yuan of new lifetime design wins in the first half
The Ningbo supplier's interim report records wins with European, Japanese and Korean carmakers for assisted driving, cockpit and automated-driving data recorder systems, while revenue fell 7.4 percent.
Joyson Electronics reported first-half revenue of RMB 28.091 billion, down 7.43 percent, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 738.95 million, up 4.43 percent, in an interim report filed to cninfo on August 26. Gross margin was 17.7 percent and operating cash flow RMB 1.93 billion.
The company said new design wins secured during the half carried an estimated lifetime order value of about RMB 44.9 billion. Research and development expense was RMB 1.706 billion, up 0.76 percent.
Among the wins, Joyson named orders and proof-of-concept projects with overseas carmakers for advanced assisted driving, intelligent cockpit and automated-driving data recorder systems. It also said Chinese models built for export are taking its driving, cockpit and zonal controllers, and that the arrangement is spreading to further overseas models of one Chinese electric vehicle maker. The report cites the Chinese national standard GB 44721—2026 as an accelerant for that demand.
Joyson said it ranked 29th on the 2026 Automotive News list of the hundred largest global suppliers, up eight places. Its electrical and electronic work was described around domain-fusion controllers, in-vehicle optical communication and joint development with international carmakers on high-level in-vehicle networks.
